Kirtlington Park Polo Club 14th and 15th August 2021
Sounds in the Grounds brings a line-up of best-loved and internationally renowned concert shows to the beautiful grounds of Kirtlington Park Polo Club near the village of Kidlington in Oxfordshire.
The concerts will be staged in the grounds of the Polo Club, set in the glorious English heritage countryside of Oxfordshire with the fabulous backdrop of Kirtlington Park and its Capability Brown designed landscaped park.
Audiences can enjoy great live music from their designated ‘picnic patch’ (for 2, 4 or 6 people), which will be socially distanced from others but close enough to share the fun.
In fully-staged productions with LED screens beside the stage, the Sounds in the Grounds programme features:

KILLER QUEEN Sunday 15th August 2021
Killer Queen have been electrifying audiences around the world for 27 years, following in the footsteps of the real Queen and selling out many of the same arenas. In 1995 they were the first tribute to have a resident show in London’s West End, and were voted Best Tribute Band Worldwide in 1999. Killer Queen have gone on to headline festivals across Europe and are regulars at some of America’s most prestigious venues where The Beatles, Springsteen and U2 have all graced the stage.
Described by the BBC as ‘uncannily accurate’ and ‘the kings of musical impersonators’ Killer Queen were selected to represent Queen in a re-staged tribute Live Aid concert held by Sir Bob Geldof.
Killer Queen faithfully recreate the iconic songs and showmanship of one of the greatest ever rock bands with their outstanding musicianship, and the dazzling vocal range and high-energy charisma of Patrick Myers who bounds into the role of the legendary Freddie Mercury. As you immerse yourself in hit after hit, including We Will Rock You, Another One Bites the Dust, We Are the Champions, I Want to Break Free and Bohemian Rhapsody you’ll have to pinch yourself to believe you’re not back in the 80s at a real Queen performance!

THE NEW YORK BRASS BAND Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th August 2021
Hailing from the ancient streets of York, The New York Brass Band is a powerhouse 7-piece ensemble at the forefront of a funky brass revolution.
With a repertoire that ranges from Marvin Gaye to George Michael, from Cee-Lo Green to Stevie Wonder, with some funky, gritty northern originals thrown in for good measure, nothing kicks a party into gear like the sound of a smokin’ New Orleans Mardi Gras Jazz Band!
They pull in the crowds at Glastonbury and were a hit at last summer’s Sounds in the Grounds too!
Returning by popular demand, The New York Brass Band is not to be missed!
