Audiences can enjoy great live music from their designated ‘picnic patch’ (for 2, 4 or 6 people), which will be socially distanced from others but close enough to share the fun.

In fully-staged productions with LED screens beside the stage, the Sounds in the Grounds programme features:

THE DEFINITIVE RAT PACK Friday 11th June 2021

Relive the golden era of swing as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr – the megastar members of the ‘Rat Pack’ who took Las Vegas by storm in the 1960′s – are brought back to life with uncanny precision in this highly entertaining show.

The Definitive Rat Pack are the original cast members from the West End’s hot-ticket show The Rat Pack – Live from Las Vegas which ran for over five years. Stephen Triffitt (Frank), George Daniel Long (Sammy) and Mark Adams (Dean) have for more than 17 years recreated a slice of entertainment history, faithfully replicating the vocals and personalities of these three world-famous singers.

Together with the three delectable Golddiggers and seven of the finest Big Band musicians in the industry they create showbiz magic with such favourites as: Fly Me to the Moon, Chicago, My Way, That’s Amore, Volare, Ain’t That a Kick in the Head, Everybody Loves Somebody, Mr Bojangles, Mack the Knife and of course New York New York to name just a few.

Tina’s iconic story of survival in the face of adversity is revealed through her catalogue of hits – Simply the Best, Private Dancer, What's Love Got To Do With It and We Don’t Need Another Hero to name just a few - songs which belong on the live stage.

ONE NIGHT OF TINA - A Tribute to the Music of Tina Turner is a faithful live concert homage to an exceptional artist.

KILLER QUEEN Sunday 13th June 2021

Killer Queen have been electrifying audiences around the world for 27 years, following in the footsteps of the real Queen and selling out many of the same arenas. In 1995 they were the first tribute to have a resident show in London’s West End, and were voted Best Tribute Band Worldwide in 1999. Killer Queen have gone on to headline festivals across Europe and are regulars at some of America’s most prestigious venues where The Beatles, Springsteen and U2 have all graced the stage.

Described by the BBC as ‘uncannily accurate’ and ‘the kings of musical impersonators’ Killer Queen were selected to represent Queen in a re-staged tribute Live Aid concert held by Sir Bob Geldof.

Killer Queen faithfully recreate the iconic songs and showmanship of one of the greatest ever rock bands with their outstanding musicianship, and the dazzling vocal range and high-energy charisma of Patrick Myers who bounds into the role of the legendary Freddie Mercury. As you immerse yourself in hit after hit, including We Will Rock You, Another One Bites the Dust, We Are the Champions, I Want to Break Free and Bohemian Rhapsody you’ll have to pinch yourself to believe you’re not back in the 80s at a real Queen performance!

THE NEW YORK BRASS BAND Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June 2021

Hailing from the ancient streets of York, The New York Brass Band is a powerhouse 7-piece ensemble at the forefront of a funky brass revolution.

With a repertoire that ranges from Marvin Gaye to George Michael, from Cee-Lo Green to Stevie Wonder, with some funky, gritty northern originals thrown in for good measure, nothing kicks a party into gear like the sound of a smokin’ New Orleans Mardi Gras Jazz Band!

They pull in the crowds at Glastonbury and were a hit at last summer’s Sounds in the Grounds too!

Returning by popular demand, The New York Brass Band is not to be missed!
